2025-2026 Sustainability Report
Transparency is at the heart of Verescence’s commitments. That is why we are pleased to share our 2025-2026 Sustainability Report, voluntarily audited by an independent third-party organization.
This ninth edition presents the progress made as part of our Glass Made To Last CSR roadmap, structured around three pillars: People First, Act for Society, and Eco Solutions.
Through this report, discover how our teams around the world are taking action to improve safety, develop skills, strengthen responsible sourcing, accelerate the decarbonization of our operations, preserve water resources, promote eco-design, and address many other sustainability challenges.
The report also features interviews with our partners. Parfums Christian Dior shares insights into the lightweighting of the iconic J’adore bottle, while Givaudan presents a joint innovation project developed with Verescence to enhance fragrance protection.
Highlights from 2025-2026:
35% reduction in CO2 emissions (Scopes 1 and 2) compared with 2019
At Group level, Verescence aims to reduce its Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 63.7% between 2019 and 2034. To support this ambition, Verescence will commission its first hybrid furnace in 2026, capable of operating on up to 80% electricity and 20% biogas.
92% of bottles produced from post-consumer recycled (PCR) glass
A pioneer in the production of glass bottles incorporating cullet derived from recycled glass packaging, Verescence continuously manufactures Infinite Glass 20 at its four glass production sites. This solution contains 20% post-consumer recycled glass and helps preserve natural resources while reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
98.2% of industrial water recycled and reused
Preserving water resources is a priority for Verescence. The Group continues its efforts to reduce water withdrawals across all its sites and already operates a “dry” plant in the United States.
97.9% local procurement
Verescence prioritizes short supply chains to reduce transportation-related emissions and limit the environmental footprint of its operations, while also contributing to the economic development of the regions where the Group operates.
77.8% of employees trained
Because Verescence’s success relies first and foremost on the commitment and expertise of its people, the Group continues to invest in skills development, training, and the employability of its workforce.
Living Wage Employer certification obtained
This certification reflects Verescence’s commitment to fair, transparent, and responsible compensation. It recognizes the implementation of a policy that ensures every employee receives a living wage.
