Verescence opens its doors to over a hundred students to showcase careers in the glass industry.

As part of the 13th edition of Industry Week, Verescence, the world leader in luxury glass packaging for the perfume and cosmetics industry, is opening the doors of its three production sites in France. Middle school, high school, and university students are invited to discover the company’s expertise and career opportunities.
A Week to Explore the Glass Industry Behind the Scenes
Since its launch in 2011, Industry Week has become a key event for raising awareness among young people about industrial careers and changing their perception of French industry—an industry that is innovative, committed to decarbonization, and rooted in the regions, just like the glass industry.
Verescence fully embodies this transformation with an ambitious strategy to reduce its CO₂ emissions by 70% in France by 2030. This includes electrifying multiple processes (furnaces, feeders, and annealing lehrs), recovering waste heat, and using decarbonized energy sources.
Immersive Tours to Discover Careers in Glass Manufacturing
Every year, Verescence actively participates in this national event by organizing numerous tours of its production plants in Mers-les-Bains (Hauts-de-France), Abbeville (Hauts-de-France), and Écouché-les-Vallées (Normandy).
This is a unique opportunity to step behind the scenes of the glass manufacturing process for some of the most prestigious perfume and cosmetics brands, including Dior, Bulgari, Hermès, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, and Armani.
A Week to Inspire, Recruit, and Spark New Vocations
Industry Week at Verescence means a fortnight of factory visits, over 300 visitors expected, and a fantastic opportunity to promote glass, our professions, and recruit our future talents! It’s an event we’ve been preparing for several weeks in partnership with local schools, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), and France Travail.
