
Thomas Riou
Chief Executive Officer
Thomas Riou joined Verescence in 2012 as General Manager of the Perfumery-Cosmetics division. He was appointed CEO of Verescence in 2016.
Thomas holds an MBA from the ISG International Business School in Paris and began his career at Saint-Gobain.

Hélène Marchand
General Manager France
Hélène Marchand joined Verescence in 2004. She has held several leadership positions including Sales & Marketing Director of the Perfumery and Pharmacy activities (2005-2012), Director of the transformation plan for the Perfumery activity, and General Manager of the Insulators activity (2012-2016), before being promoted to General Manager France in 2016.
A graduate of ESCP Business School in Paris, Hélène began her career at AT Kearney, managing industrial companies internationally.

Alain Thorré
Director of Quality, CSR, and Continuous Improvement
Alain Thorré joined Verescence in 2011 as Director of Quality and Continuous Improvement. In 2016, he also took on responsibility for CSR. Before joining Verescence, he held roles in Quality and Continuous Improvement at Cooper Standard, Alcan Packaging, and CarnaudMetalbox Engineering.
Alain is a Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering graduate from INSA Rouen and holds a master’s degree in Management and Total Quality from EDHEC Business School, as well as a CESA in Supply Chain & Purchasing from HEC Paris.

Dimitri Dumestre
Chief Financial Officer
Dimitri Dumestre joined Verescence in 2010 as Director of Corporate Finance and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2015.
A graduate of ESCP Business School in Paris and holder of a DECF (Diploma in Accounting and Finance), Dimitri began his career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen. He later served as Financial Director at Valeo in Spain and Mexico, and as Group Controlling Director at Groupe Casino.

Bruno Portellano
General Manager Spain
Bruno Portellano joined Verescence in 2019. Previously, he served as Operations Director for Spain, Portugal, and Morocco at Faurecia Clean Mobility.
Bruno is an Engineer and built his career in the automotive industry, in France, Spain, Morocco, India, and Mexico.

François Boizard
Director Engineering and Technology
François Boizard joined Verescence in 2007 as Industrial Director. In 2011, he became the Group’s Technical Director. He began his career in the glass industry, holding production management and plant management roles at Saint-Gobain, before becoming General Manager of Saga Décor.
François is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from INSA Lyon and also holds a degree from the Institut Supérieur de Gestion (ISG) in Paris.

Jean-Luc Leblond
Global Sales and Marketing Director
Jean-Luc Leblond joined Verescence in 2017 as Global Sales and Marketing Director. Previously, he was Deputy General Manager at Stoelzle (Masnières plant) and VP of Sales & Marketing Americas at CTL Packaging.
Jean-Luc began his career at Laboratoires Phytomer and held various sales leadership roles at Crown Cork & Seal, Rexam, and Bormioli Rocco. A graduate in Applied Foreign Languages (LEA) from the University of Poitiers, he has extensive managerial experience and deep knowledge of the cosmetic packaging market.

Mario Lopez
General Manager North America
Mario Lopez joined Verescence in 2007. He served as Plant Manager (2007–2010), General Manager in Spain (2010–2019), and became General Manager of Verescence North America in 2019.
Previously, he was Production Manager at Saint-Gobain (1998–2007). Mario holds an M.S. in Industrial Engineering and completed the Advanced Management Program at IE Business School in Madrid.

Hervé Schricke
Director of Purchasing
Hervé Schricke joined Verescence in 2007 as Group Procurement Director. Prior to that, he gained extensive experience in major companies such as Saint-Gobain, Stolz, and Eurocopter, where he held various senior positions.
Hervé graduated in Aeronautical Maintenance from the Institut Aéronautique Amaury de La Grange, France.

Samuel Joachim
INPD Director
Samuel Joachim joined Verescence in 2013 to lead Innovation and New Product Development. Previously, he was Quality and Development Director at Bormioli Rocco.
An engineer from Polytech Lille, Samuel also holds an Executive MBA from ESSEC-Mannheim. He began his career at Saint-Gobain in France and Germany and later worked at Albéa (formerly Pechiney) in the United States.

Hyungsoo Hong
General Manager Verescence Pacific
Hyungsoo Hong joined Verescence in 2019 as General Manager of Verescence Pacific (formerly Pacificglas). Previously, he was Purchasing and Development Director at Amorepacific Group. He also served as Supply Chain Director at the Lolita Lempicka factory in France after starting his career in Planning and Purchasing.
Hyungsoo studied Industrial Engineering at Dong-Guk University and completed an Executive MBA at Seoul National University.

Jean-Michel Gorand
Chief Digital Officer
Jean-Michel Gorand joined Verescence in 2010 as Chief Information Officer after serving as Global IT Director at Linpac Allibert. He began his career at BNP Paribas and held several leadership roles at GSK, including IT Domain Manager for Sales & Marketing, Europe IT PMO Director, and Europe IT Medical & Regulatory Service Director.
Jean-Michel holds a Master’s in Economics from the University of Caen Normandy and furthered his studies in Information Technology at CIDES (Centre Interfonction Diplômes Enseignement Supérieur).

Mers-les-Bains (Somme, France)
Located in the heart of the Bresle Valley, the Verescence Mers-les-Bains site specializes in manufacturing glass bottles and jars for the luxury industry. Established in 1896, the site employs 800 people and has the capacity to produce 200 million bottles per year.
