Verescence at the 2024 Great Exhibition of Made in France
Verescence, the world leader in luxury glass packaging for the perfume and cosmetics industry, will proudly represent the Somme department at the 4th edition of the ‘Great Exhibition of Made in France’, taking place on October 26-27, 2024, at the Elysée Palace.
Initiated by the President of the Republic in 2020 and open to the public, this event honors companies, artisans, producers, manufacturers, and associations committed to French craftsmanship. Out of 2,200 submissions, 122 products were selected for this prestigious exhibition.
This year, the department of Somme will be represented by Verescence, the world-renowned glassmaker, which will showcase the iconic “H” or “Terre d’Hermès” bottle from Hermès, exclusively made at the Mers-les-Bains glass manufacturing site. A true blend of glassmaking expertise and innovation, this bottle embodies the highest quality standards of luxury perfume packaging. It remains one of the best-selling bottles worldwide, with continuous growth since its creation in 2006.
After representing the Orne department in 2021, we are extremely proud to be representing the Somme department this time, showcasing one of its world-renowned expertise: luxury glass bottle manufacturing. This French field of excellence, closely linked to the Glass Valley region, is still little known to the general public. It’s also an opportunity to showcase glass, a sustainable and infinitely recyclable material.
