Reporting to our Director of Human Resources, your mission consists of overseeing human resources activities for the assigned plant, including employee relations, engagement, talent management, training and development, compensation and benefits, performance management.
To accomplish your role and as a VERESCENCE ambassador, you:


1. Manage/oversee plant human resources activities including HR planning, performance appraisal process, employee relations, hourly recruiting/staffing and administration, training/development and coordination, recognition and rewarding, disciplinary activities and documentation, addressing complaints and resolving issues. Also responsible for overseeing HR administration and personnel records.
2. Ensure compliance site-wide with all state and federal employment laws, EEO compliance, and company policies and procedures.
3. Advise/Counsel/Coach management and employees on policy, employment regulations, and various complex human resources issues.
4. Participate in manufacturing operations management activities to support the technical aspects of manufacturing (partnering, meetings, training sessions, etc.).
5. Protect the interests of employees and the company through consistent application of and compliance with company Human Resources policies, governmental laws and regulations (OSHA, ERISA, FLSA) through active employee relations and incident investigation procedures.
6. Counsel Managers and employees on policy and employee relations issues. Facilitate meetings between managers and employees as needed. Review documentation for disciplinary actions up to and including terminations and facilitate disciplinary discussions.
7. Consult on site-wide training needs and program offerings for delivery and effectiveness, as well as administrative support responsibilities. Identify training and development opportunities. Review/approve recommendations for implementation.
8. Plan/schedule and at times develop training and leadership development courses for team leaders, process technicians and other employees as identified after completing a skills assessment.
9. Create and maintain a positive motivational climate and internal customer relations.

Required qualities :
o Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
o The ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
o Previous HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
