Reporting to the Plant Director, this position will coordinate and manage process improvements to support and improve the manufacturing operations within Sparta within Autonomous Production Units. Including involvement in supporting Safety and 5S initiatives plant wide. May also lead or be involved in the design and/or implementation of Capital Expenditures projects. To accomplish your role as a VERESCENCE Manufacturing Process Engineer, you: ▪ Will analyze, identify, recommend, and implement solutions regarding projects initiated by Operations or Facility Master Plan. ▪ Will serve as project manager for capital expenditure projects. ▪ Will study innovation opportunities or automation plant wide. ▪ Will participate to workshops / projects related production. ▪ Will initiate or update work instructions and train employees on changes + new equipment. ▪ Will work with maintenance and APU teams to manage/implement /control their maintenance operations utilizing the CMMS software. ▪ Execute and promotes initiatives through the use of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies. ▪ Participate actively in VNA budgeting process. ▪ Participate as a key member in all production-related meetings involving equipment, processes, safety, and other relevant issues. ▪ Support, coordinate and facilitate structured process improvement activities aligned to the company business goals. ▪ Work closely with supervisors, operators, maintenance and support functions to validate and implement changes ▪ Analyze existing procedures and documentation to evaluate their effectiveness/efficiency. Utilizing and updating company document management system.
