Quality Team Leader
Sherry Verescence North America (Sparta, USA)
« In 2007, my husband and I temporarily, at first, moved to the region of the Verescence plant in Sparta to be at the bedside of a member of our family who was unwell. With no Internet connection, no real place of our own, with only previous experience in quality management, I boldly applied for a job at the Verescence plant. After a spontaneous interview, I was hired on the spot as quality inspector. Since then, after 9 different assignments, as quality inspector but at different levels and with progressively more responsibility - I was promoted to Team Leader in my field.
It’s incredibly motivating to supervise the harmonious development of a bottle, throughout the entire project, and to see that it meets customer expectations.
I particularly like new launches: it’s incredibly motivating to supervise the harmonious development of a bottle, throughout the entire project, and to see that it meets customer expectations. Another source of satisfaction is sharing the team’s expertise to continue to improve our products together, helping each other in our jobs every day.
The company’s spirit of openness towards me provided an amazing opportunity and I am grateful for the trust they placed in me from day one. I was able to put down roots in Georgia, in a town that I have learned to love over the years. It was an unexpected opportunity, one that allowed me to reconcile an exciting professional career and my personal plans to help my family. My aim is to continue my Quality assignments in Sparta while working to improve the reputation and raise the standard of our decoration facility to another level! »
